Club Run

Any social run organised by a club member open to all - includes Tuesday night runs and weekend recces.

Club Run

Knott, Ard Crags and back down the valley.
Off to the Fish Inn to talk about the stunning views and light from the nearly full moon. Not many opportunities left this winter for this much fun.

Club Run

Following the pre Christmas run this is the other half of the Aitkin Skyline. Graystones, Broom, Lords Seat. Hopefully this time we will find the path down- rather depends if someone called Tim turns up. It will be dry, there will be no mud, nor bog.

Club Run

Burnbank, Blake, High Nook tarn and the coffin road back. Or the other way round. Going to be dark.

Club Run

Flat fell and dent. Up the infamous chimneys. The route will be dry. No wet feet.
Moon, sadly, waning gibbous. Sadly, no-one has yet understood the gibbous bit.

Club Run and Pie night

Melbreak. Well known to all, because of the navigational challenges at the far end.

Not quite a full moon....waxing gibbous at 98%. Hopefully someone will google this phrase and be able to explain it.

However, more importantly, its pie night. You need to let Andy Bradley know of your requirement, andyandmel@btinternet.com.
Options are large pie or small pie. Those not wanting to stand out from the crowd will order large. Details on Facebook as well.

Club Run

Short grass, hill sprints, and a pub afterwards - for the members meeting. What's not to like. The moon will be 380,561.24 km away. Not sure where it will be away from though, seems an unlikely degree of accuracy for Sale fell.

Club Run

Second attempt at Whoap. Hope the weather is a tad better than the last attempt. Long run out, long run back. Bog inbetween. No moon at all. Bring a candle.

Club Run

Sharp Knott and Blake. Only 44% Waning moon, made up by those new headtorches Father Christmas brought.

Club Run

First of the year. Up onto the Fellbarrow Massif. One day after the full moon. Glorious views and moonlit running over the cropped turf.

Drowning the back to work blues by calling at the Wheatsheaf at Lorton for a bag of nuts and a chat about who is going to run what in 2018

Club Run

No club run. Everyone enjoying their families so much that they don't want to meet up this week.
Normal service resumes next week

Happy Christmas
